Aar Rafi working Avatar

Hello I'm Aar Rafi šŸš€

I am fortunate to be able to work at a variety of places in order to broaden my knowledge. I am now more self-assured and able to think and act more sensibly.During my free time, I usually find myself watching episodes of Shark Tank or Dragons' Den. Normally, I enjoy watching movies, particularly theĀ horror or thriller ones. I used to play PUBG Mobile a year ago and even made it to the PMCO Group Stage before I quit.Even if we don't do business together, you're welcome to connect with me to discuss TV shows and movies or evenĀ video games.

Work Experience

  1. The Run Digital

Co-founder, Head of Marketing & Business Development

After gaining diverse experience by working at multiple companies, doing courses, my own research, and test projects, I decided to start a Web development company since I have the necessary domain expertise for this.

Now that I have a smart team that gets things done, I am responsible for establishing business relationships with multiple parties and reaching out to potential leads who could benefit from our company.

I manage operations and marketing, but I also work closely with the founders of early-stage startups to learn new things and share with them what I already know. To be honest, I really enjoy these knowledge-sharing sessions.

  2. Table Checkout

    Co-Founder, Product Manager

Table Checkout is the first SaaS product of The Run Digital.

It helps restaurant owners become more profitable and establish a strong brand. By utilizing Table Checkout, restaurants become less dependent on food aggregator platforms and can market to their existing customers, gain more customer insights, etc.

Currently, it is only running locally.

  3. Zrendy Lights

    Owner

I started Zrendy Lights in a short span of time to test how to run a one product brand, and surprisingly, it worked.

With time, I could do wonders that allowed me to get a deep understanding of customer psychology. I've also used a sales technique that's generating sales on its own (creating a snowball effect) through my existing customers.

I'll link a case study that I am currently writing for Zrendy Lights over here once it's ready.

  4. C&T Home Care Services

    EVV Coordinator

EVV stands for Electronic Visit Verification and C&T is a home care agency that operates in the US. I was mainly responsible for handling Call Logs from English-speaking aides - assisting them with their regular visits, missed visits, and clock-in/clock-out issues which result in the interruption of their payment.

    Other responsibilities:

    - Responsible for the accuracy and timely communication of scheduling conflicts to the Care Coordinator or Care Manager
    - Conduct and monitor daily Visit Maintenance for all Caregivers in the HHA EVV, and in real time
    - Assist Care Coordinators with updating client status in the HHA EVV system as necessary (hold status when not being serviced, etc.)
    - Enter, implement, and monitor service or provider type changes as per the authorization.
    - Order and Track Visit Clock for use by caregivers to record time worked
    - Assist with training Caregivers on Caller-ID/HHA App/FOB Devices as needed
    - Monitor proper usage of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Reason codes, enter client visits, and run checks and balances prior to submitting to payroll
    - In order to reduce fraud, waste and abuse may conduct periodic GPS checks to confirm the location of service delivery
    - Supporting other members of the Care Team to provide the best customer service possible and create an environment of trust and collaboration within the team
    - Communicate with case managers, practitioners, and others as needed to facilitate client services and to ensure client continuity of care
    - Assist with incoming and outgoing calls with kindness and professionalism
    - Know and follow Company policies and procedures
    - Work with integrity; eliminating fraud, waste, and abuse of funds
    - Other duties as deemed necessary by the Supervisor.

  5. Expands AS

    Project Manager

One of my international clients from Sweden wanted to form a partnership with me, so when he moved to Norway for further studies, we co-founded 'Expands NO' over there.

I was asked to manage the project while hiring and supervising a team in my home country, while he would be responsible for marketing.

After the initial setup and procedures, I was unable to process paperwork because my country identified me as a minor.

During that time, we were also experiencing difficulties due to a number of disagreements; consequently, we decided not to work together.

Later, he partnered up with a developer from my neighboring country who had more experience than I did at the time. However, for reasons I don't know, they couldn't keep the business going either.

  6. Digital Wine Cellar, NO

    Partner

Took the initiative to launch a Norwegian startup whose basic concept was to determine whether customers would be interested in keeping hard liquors in a virtual cellar and receiving delivery on demand.

The project never went past the ideation and prototyping stage because the other Norwegian partner took a full-time job, which he is without a doubt excelling at right now.

We might have been able to make it through if we had sufficient finances, but we were too preoccupied with other things to devote the time necessary to complete the initial steps to show proof of concept.

However, it was a good experience after all.

  7. Fiverr

    WordPress Expert

I learned WordPress out of sheer curiosity, and I'm thrilled to be able to demonstrate my proficiency on the Fiverr platform in such a short amount of time.

A few of the Fiverr jobs I received were more challenging than others (I lacked the expertise). Due to my autonomy and can-do attitude, I was able to complete all of them on time. Obviously, my clients assisted me throughout the process, but the majority of them kept a generous connection with me as a result of my openness and efficient communication. This allowed me to discuss more and learn about their business culture and how they maintain certain tasks.

I'm truly grateful for the contacts I've cultivated through this platform throughout the years, which have allowed me to further extend my knowledge and think outside of the box. As a result of having the chance to work closely with solo founders, I was able to understand their pain points, which is currently benefiting me in my career.

  8. Techonix BD

    Link Builder

Worked as a Link Builder (white-hat method) for the following companies: CheapFlights, Booking.com, Agoda & TripAdvisor.

    Tasks performed:

    - Created backlinks from high DA forums
    - Create & maintain several user profiles on popular forums (i.e Quora, Steemit, etc)
    - Produced discussions that engaged 100K-1M audiences
    - Made sure that the contents are meeting industry standards and meet the community(s)
    guidelines.

  9. ZEQNO

    Telemarketing Agent

I worked at Zeqno for a month; however, for some personal reasons I couldn't continue there.
